2313 has also experienced some tragic losses: - C/Cpl Amber Dickson, age 15 yrs, was murdered by her father on Oct 14 1997. 700 people attended the funeral held at Patterson Armoury.
- S C/Cpl Craig Batsel was accidentally electrocuted on April 15 1998.
- In the fall 1998 C/WO Jesse Den Hollander was injured in an automobile accident on his way to cadets. He was on the critical list for quite some time. His strength and prayers from many have enabled him to walk again.
- 9 October 1999 C/MCpl Pam Johnson was killed in a car accident in Medicine Hat.
- October 2000 C/Cpl Joey Vessey was killed when a cement obstacle ripped into the sleeper of his father’s truck. Fire erupted and workers were unable to retrieve him.
