IMPROVEMENTS:

Military Band (under the direction of Kevin Frazer/Keith Honeywell)

NSCE Graduates: 1996 - 2003 28 cadets

Biathlon Team - (under direction of Coach Mr. Dave Watson) returned from the Winter Games and Cadet Provincials in 2000 with Bronze medals. In 2002 WO Jennifer Kat won Bronze in the Sprint category at the Winter Games.

Medicine Hat Rattler Run:

• 1996 1st in the Inter Corps Competition
• 1997 2nd in the Inter Corps Competition
• 1997 1st in the Inter Corps Competition
• 2001-2003 participated in the run.

Army Cadet Summer Training Slots:

• 2313 occupied 170 slots at various summer training centres.
• Approximately 10 cadets and one officer have been gainfully employed since 1997 at Summer Training Centres
• Five Exchange places out of a possible ten granted Canada wide in one year.

1998 - 1999: Youth Initiative Program from DND provided generous funding for cadet optional training programs. 2313 took advantage of this opportunity by arranging programs through the YMCA; Wall Climbing, Introductory Scuba Diving, Scuba Diving Certification Course (20 cadets took part), canoeing and kayaking.
