Feb 1, 1968: On integration of the RCN, the Canadian Army, and the RCAF, the three distinct cadet officer bodies were amalgamated into the Cadet Instructor List (CIL). For the first time, officers responsible for cadets had a single structure, were commissioned officers in the reserve force (regardless of element).
